TRADITIONAL CAMBODIAN ICE COFFEE:
To make coffee as the Cambodians do, grind the beans for drip method and put two heaping tablespoons per cup into a paper filter apparatus. After boiling the water, let it sit off the burner for one minute, then pour over the grounds. For a more traditional drink, pour the coffee over the same grounds three times. While still hot, pour over a glass of ice, and serve with canned sweetened condensed milk.
Ratanakiri Coffee is grown in the hills of Ratanakiri province in northeast Cambodia, where the climate is cooler and the orchards
are irrigated by mountain streams. Craftsmen from Yanaka Coffee in Japan have blended and roasted these Ratanakiri beans to produce
a coffee which is ideal for Cambodian style iced coffee, Italian style espresso, or your favorite home brew.
All profits from the sale of Ratanakiri Coffee are spent on building schools, improving medical facilities, distributing life-saving
mosquito nets and training local farmers and craftsmen in improving their agricultural and manufacturing skills.
As you enjoy this exciting new coffee, we ask you to think of the people who grew it and the many who will benefit from this coffee
with true heart.
